Clean and Comfy is a small family-run cleaning business that cares for a mix of domestic, NDIS, Defense Veterans and Age Care clients. We value the relationship with our clients and they value the work we do for them.
Our business aims to meet the expectations of our clients and provide a quality cleaning service. When their home is clean our clients are comfortable and happy. Some clients have disabilities or restrictions and cannot clean their own homes, so it's important to them and us that we are there to help them achieve the clean home they need to thrive.

As a cleaner, you can make a big difference in people's lives by helping them with the cleaning and tidying of their homes.
We are looking for someone who can work with us to care for our client's home cleaning needs. At the same time, you'll need a personal and professional way of communicating and relating to the clients.
We want you to enjoy and succeed in your role while caring for clients as if it were your own business. You will report to our Senior Cleaner/Boss whom you will work and train alongside. When competent and ready it is expected that you can work both as a solo cleaner and in teams.


Position: Casual cleaner
Cleaning tasks
Clean inside of homes, such as wiping, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing tiles, toilets, walls, floors, windows, benches, bathrooms, tidy rooms and benches as needed.
Clean some external areas of homes such as verandas, low-level windows, and doors.
Other cleaning-related tasks as required.
Responsibilities
Clean effectively and to a high quality (training provided).
Arrive on time.
Use the correct selection of cleaning products and equipment for each surface and cleaning need, and request more as needed (training provided).
Maintain and take reasonable care of provided equipment and resources. For example, look after and empty vacuum cleaner bags and filters regularly as needed.
Communicate professionally with the client about cleaning needs for the time allocated, such as areas they would like extra attention.
Communicate with the manager regarding schedules, equipment, supplies, and as appropriate for other matters, including cleaning and client guidance.
Use provided software for work and training.
Uphold Work Health ans Safety standards and complete training modules as required.
Skills and abilities that are needed
Show initiative to learn and improve on one's own performance
Effectivley manage time to work within allocated time frames
Excellent communicate skills
Ability to work as a team and independently
Previous professional cleaning experience (desirable)
Qualifications and certificates required
Drivers licence (manditory)
Police certificate (manditory)
Blue Card (desirable)
Evidence for rights to work in Australia (manitory)
Type of employment
Casual job on an ongoing basis. We anticipate there will be a regular increase in hours in accordance with worker capacity and client demand.
The pay rate is according to the Fair Work Queensland Cleaning Award and starts at $31.20 per hour including casual loading. Superannuation is paid on top of the hourly rate.
